Conditions of the Competition:

The Championship is a 54-hole stroke play event, with a 36-hole cut to the low 36 players and ties. The USGA Rules of Golf shall govern all play. All decisions made by the Tournament Committee concerning the competition are final. In addition, the following rules are in effect:

 

 

  • Blue Tee markers are in use for the tournament. Yardage on the scorecard is measured from the Blue Tee Monuments but you will see a variety of white, blue and black tees in use for this event.

 

  • In the event of a tie for the Championship, the winner will be determined in a sudden death playoff at West Seattle GC beginning on hole #18, then hole #17, repeating this sequence until a champion emerges.

 

  • Prohibition of Electronic Devices - To avoid distractions, the use of cellular phones, electronic tablets, noise-making pagers, Air Pods and other similar electronic devices for communications purposes or music listening will be prohibited during championship play. Multifunctional devices and range finders may be used as a Distance Measuring Device ONLY (without slope).

 

  • Starting Times for Monday Sept 6th will be from 7:00a – 9:00a and will be available thru Golf Genius.

 

  • Suspension of play – When play is suspended for a dangerous situation, competitors shall discontinue play immediately and shall not thereafter resume until the Committee has ordered resumption of play. PENALTY FOR BREACH: Disqualification. Note: Suspension for a dangerous situation is signaled by a long continuous blast. Resumption is signaled by two consecutive blasts.

 

  • Dress Code – All players and CADDIES shall wear appropriate golf attire during tournament rounds. Slacks, golf shorts and golf shirts with collars are appropriate. Failure to adhere to this dress code will result in DISQUALIFICATION.

 

  • By playing in this event, you agree to abide by all State and City Mandated Covid-19 modifications.
